Requesting Available Material
You can collect most of the items kept by the University Library branches directly from the shelf by using the Call Number, i.e. the number which indicates the item’s location in the Library. However, some books and journals are in closed stacks and must be requsted. Requests of these should be made via GUNDA or the scanned card catalogues. Requested items are put on shelves for ordered and reserved material and arranged alphabetically by the borrower’s last name. Counting from the date of order the item is kept five days for collection. Please note that the libraries will not inform you by letter when an item fetched from closed stacks is available for collection.

Queueing for Items on Loan
If the book is on loan you can queue for it in GUNDA. The Library will send you a message when the book has arrived. The book reservation lasts for six days.
