School textbooks

The collection of schoolbooks includes teaching material for compulsory school and upper secondary school courses from 1958 onwards. It is kept on the first floor in the Education Library. School textbooks published before 1958 are kept in closed stacks at the Central Library.

Borrowing school textbooks

Books published before 2000 are only for reading in the Library (reference copies). School textbooks published from 2000 onwards are often available for loan, i.e. they can be taken home.

Searching for school textbooks

The school textbooks are searchable in various search engines based on years of publication:

• School textbooks published from 1990 onwards are searchable in GUNDA. They are shelved by subject as five-year series on the first floor of the Education Library.
• School textbooks published 1976-1989 are being catalogued and listed for search in GUNDA.
• School textbooks published between 1958 and 1975 are searchable in Lärobokskatalogen 1958-75
• School textbooks published before 1958 can be found and ordered in Katalog -57
