There are currently problems with the email for the university's employees. Therefore you might not receive notices and reminders from the library, or you might not get an answer if you try to contact us. Digital deliveries to the library are also affected, which means that requests that you have made can be delayed. You can log in to My loans to see if you have material to pick up or return, and you can contact our libraries by phone or online via Zoom.
Dictionary of Old English: A to I
The Dictionary of Old English (DOE) is a dictionary of the Old English language, published by the Centre for Medieval Studies, University of Toronto, Canada. The dictionary defines the vocabulary of the first six centuries (600-1150 A.D.) of the English language. The DOE complements the Middle English Dictionary (which covers the period 1100-1500 A.D.) and the Oxford English Dictionary, the three together providing a full description of the vocabulary of English.
The dictionary is still under production.
