Gupea is a university-wide database for full text electronic publishing. In Gupea you will find research reports, student theses, doctoral theses and other academic material published by authors affiliated to the University of Gothenburg. Gupea's contents are freely accessible and searchable in Google, essays.se, and the Library's own search service Supersearch.

Starting up your department as a publisher

The University's departments manage the publishing of their student theses and research reports in Gupea. Contact the University Library if your department want to start publishing student theses or research reports.

Do you want to publish your thesis or publication in Gupea?

If you can not find your student thesis or publication in Gupea, you shall in most cases contact your department for support. Some departments have their own procedures that they publish in the Student Portal and Staff Portal.

Agreement for electronic publishing

The author of the publication must give their consent to publishing in Gupea by approving an agreement for electronic publishing. The department is responsible for notifying the author about the agreement. The author then sends in the approved agreement to the department.
