Music Online: Opera in Video

Opera in Video provides coverage in all forms of operatic performance, and is relevant to a broad range of studies, including music history, music appreciation, opera performance, analysis and theory: Multiple productions of the most studied operas allow for comparative analysis, showing various interpretations of staging/set design. Videos of legendary performers are together for the first time, cross searchable and available for side-by-side comparison. Interviews with singers, stage designers, and directors, integrated with excerpts of live performances, show the development of each production.
