Collaboration

Gothenburg University Library collaborates with other universities and organisations to provide information resources and develop services for researchers and students. At a national level, the University Library collaborates on the procurement of resources and publisher agreements, and several of the library’s development projects are also carried out in collaboration with other higher education institutions and universities.

Bibsam Consortium
The consortium negotiatiates licence agreements for electronic information resources and open access publishing.
Digitisation of Swedish Printed Material
The aim of this collaborative project is to make 600 years of Swedish printed material freely available in digital form.
Digitisation of card catalogues
The aim of the project is to improve access to the library’s older materials in the national library catalogue, Libris.
