The database is an online version of The Europa World Yearbook and The Europa Regional Surveys of the World and contains descriptions of more than 250 geographical areas, ranging from continents and nations to smaller regions, autonomous areas and states. For each continent, both economic and political information is provided.
You will also find articles on current topics as well as summaries of political events, elections and prominent politicians in each area. For each country, there is also in-depth information on politics, the economy, the media, trade and geography.
Europa World also contains information on international and regional organisations, including contact details. The organisations are divided into UN-affiliated bodies and other organisations, with the latter group sorted by subject area.
In addition to the yearbook database, there is a statistics tool that enables you to compare statistics between countries in areas such as healthcare, agriculture, industry and trade.
