20 minutes for researchers: Bibliometrics for dummies
In bibliometrics, statistical methods are used to analyze publications and links between them. In this session, we will explain the sometimes contested metrics Journal Impact Factor and h-index which are used for comparison, evaluation and ranking of research.

This event in the series 20 minutes for researchers is arranged by the Social Sciences Libraries and Team Publishing and bibliometrics. During 20 minutes we will recommend tools and services that can facilitate your life as a researcher. Researchers and doctoral students from any faculty are welcome to join.
