Finding the time and space for reading can be a challenge. By participating in a reading retreat you will have the opportunity to read in a calm environment with other students and to learn how to sustain effective reading habits in your studies.

About the reading retreat

The purpose of a reading retreat is to get away from the distractions of everyday life to concentrate fully on your academic reading. A retreat facilitator from the Unit for Academic Language will guide you through a structured half day of individual reading and group reflections on the reading process.
