During 23-29 October open access week is celebrated; an annual event to highlight open science.
The work to make science open access is constantly ongoing at the University Library. The result of this can be found, for example, in the university's open repository, GUPEA, where you can find freely available material from the University of Gothenburg. In GUPEA, it is also possible to self-archive a manuscript copy to make it available open access.
Discounts on publication fees
The University Library also negotiates a number of agreements where researchers affiliated with the University of Gothenburg can publish free of charge or with a discount on the publication fee.
