The KVINNSAM database
KVINNSAM is an interdisciplinary database of literature, containing references to Swedish and international research within gender studies and women’s history. It is based on the holdings of the Gothenburg University Library, primarily its printed materials. The database is part of the Swedish national catalogue, Libris, and contains around 170 000 references, making it the largest database of its kind in the Nordic region.
Queerlit
The Queerlit database is a reference database for Swedish fiction including depictions of same-sex desire, LGBTQI individuals and narratives that challenge binary gender norms. Queerlit compiles first editions of fiction published in Sweden, in Swedish or in any of the Swedish national minority languages.
The database also contains references to autobiographical texts, letters, diaries and the like, which to a greater extent deal with the subject areas of the database.
