Introduction to the University Library

Teachers and course coordinators are welcome to contact us to request instruction for their student group, or use our introduction module in Canvas in your course.

Library introduction for your student group

We offer introductions to the University Library at the start of the semester or at the beginning of a course.

The introductions contain information about

  • how the students find textbooks at the library
  • how the students borrow and renew their loans
  • study spaces and group study rooms at the library
  • search services and printing options
  • support and services at the libraries and what the students can access from home.

Use our introduction module in Canvas

As a teacher or course coordinators, you can add the library's introduction module in Canvas for to your course.The modules are available in English and Swedish and is updated each semester.

Go to Canvas Commons and search for "Library introduction" or "Biblioteksintroduktion" to find the modules. Then add them to your course, so that they are accessible to your students.

Book a library introduction session

Contact us to request instruction for your student group. They are held at the at campus or online via Zoom. The introductions are free of charge and usually takes 20-45 minutes.
