Welcome week for new students
During Welcome Week 2 to 6 September, we take extra care of you who are a new student at the University of Gothenburg at our libraries. How do you do when borrowing books and what services can our librarians help with?
Welcome to one of our eight different libraries during week 36. We arrange several helpful activities to welcome new students and ensure that you feel at home with us.
During the study period, we help you with information search, reference management and, of course, borrowing course books for the semester's courses. In addition, we have nice study environments with both space for individual work in peace and quiet and bookable group rooms for group work.

Your GU card is your library card and during the welcome week we are extra prepared to help and show you how to use it.
