KvinnSam - National resource library for gender studies

KvinnSam - National resource library for gender studies - at Gothenburg University Library is a special library for women's, men's and gender studies.

The principal goals are surveying and cataloguing literature on gender issues and compiling and cataloguing manuscript material on women's history. New literature in the University Library is registered in the database KVINNSAM, the most extensive information resource on women's studies and gender research in the Nordic countries, and in GENA, a database of PhD theses in Women's Studies, Men's Studies and Gender Research in Sweden. 



KvinnSam was founded in 1958.
