The KvinnSam manuscript collection include handwritten manuscripts and other source material, dating primarily from the first half of the 20th century.
The manuscript collection holds archives where you can find letters, photographs, diaries, manuscripts etc. collected by and about women, such as the collections of Elin Wägner, Emilia Fogelklou, Jeanna Otherdahl, Barbro Alving and Sonja Åkesson.
Besides these archives the manuscript collection also holds minutes, accounts and annual reports from women's associations, such as the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, the Society for Encouragement of Sensitive and Moral Maternal Care, and the Women's Debating Society of Göteborg.

Register and loans
The archives are registered in several files that you can find in KvinnSams reading room. Here you can also find a computerized register of correspondents. The staff will give you guidance and help you to find what you're searching for. For further information please contact KvinnSam. The material in the collections may mainly be used for scientific research and is available for in-house lending. Under these conditions it's also possible to get inter-library loan via other libraries.
