Biomedical Library

The Biomedical Library is part of Gothenburg University Library. The subjects covered are Medicine, Health Care Sciences, Dentistry and Biosciences. The aim of the library is primarily to support researchers and students within these subject fields.

Loans and information
Questions about your loans can be directed to the staff at the circulation desk on floor 5. They can also assist you in locating specific information or in using the library’s resources, and advice you on the selection and use of printed materials and electronic resources for information retrieval.

You collect requested books directly from the shelves for ordered and reserved items, and you can use the self-service check-out machine for the registration of your loans. The self-service machine is also used for checkins. Also, books can be returned via a special book inlet at the entrance facing Medicinaregatan. The book inlet is available at all hours.
