Reading Studio
A special reading studio, with speech synthesis, magnifying programme and other facilities, is available at the Biomedical Library, the Central Library, the Economics Library, and the Education Library.

Special Support to Visually Impaired or Dyslectic Students
Gothenburg University Library offers special support to visually impaired or dyslectic students. To get access to these facilities you have to present a certificate issued by Lena Borg-Melldahl, study counsellor at University of Gothenburg, tel. 031-786 10 40.

Textbook Loans
Gothenburg University Library provides extended loan periods to visually impaired or dyslectic students. The normal period of 14 days is extended to 30 days. The University Library can also assist you in ordering obligatory university course textbooks produced by Talboks- och punktskriftsbiblioteket (the Swedish Library of Talking Books and Braille).
